Founded in 1989, Chiper Technology has entered its almost 20 years of operation. We are one Pioneers of CCTV system manufacturing as the earliest company in Taiwan that started R&D & manufacturing cameras. We are the first one to start using “SONY” CCD in cameras manufacturing. The first one to be successful with R&D & production to supply 2/3” CCD cameras in Taiwan under cooperation with “SONY” corporation of Japan. Has been a leader of Taiwan’s development on Video imaging & Control system equipment. During recently, CCTV has entered an era where it has to involve digitalization & remote monitoring through the internet. This has become the major trend in the market demand. This situation also has made “CCTV administration method” & “CCTV Equipment operation habit” as ChipER’s fundamental consideration during R&D of any new product. 1992- DSP color cameras & D&N cameras as the first Taiwan company to make these cameras Matrix, as the first company to manufacture Matrix system for CCTV
1994- Preset functional Pan tilt drivers & Telemetry control receivers
1995- The first company to invent Vandal proof dome housing
1996- Power/Video on One cable cameras for (1.2km)
1997- Long distance twisted pair Video & Control system & Coaxial system
1998- Infra red Thermal cameras to supply for Taiwan’s ministry of Defense. ISO 9001 certification
1999- Star light mega pixels 2/3” CCD color cameras
2000- Non-explosive Pan Tilt drivers & Housings
2001- Major company in cameras for LPC (License Plate camera) & PRC (Plate recognition camera)
2002- Expand production line to mainland China for Housings & Pan tilt (cameras still in Taiwan)
2003- Airtight Housings for Nitrogen cooling system
2004- Stainless steel high-speed pan tilt drivers & IR cameras for High ways LPC & PRC.
2005- Wide Dynamic Range cameras & 3D PTZ cameras & True color IR cameras
